A shady spot

This is a very shady flower bed in my garden and is full of ferns, cyclamen and a jasmine. I had a jasmine there before but it died after a year so I'm hoping that this one will survive.The gardener has made the bed much deeper which I'm hoping will help, if this one doesn't live I'll know that it's definitely the wrong spot.

I'm very fond of this wall as it contains a lot of stone from the castle. Many old cottages and walls in the village are built from bits of castle as people years ago saw it as free and available building material. Fortunately that wouldn't happen nowadays (I would hope).

I'm off to a music session tonight so that's a good end to the day!
