Ingleton Viaduct

Deciding that stiles are still out of the question for a girl on crutches, the walk across the fields from  Thornton in Lonsdale became a walk into Ingleton along the road and back,  with a coffee stop up by the viaduct, me hoping I could get onto it but no.   We tried a couple of times to get onto the disused branch line that closed in 1954, and even though there is lots of evidence of the line, there is no public access in the Ingleton area. Such a shame, the photo opportunities from the viaduct would be amazing..
