Autumn in the Lake District

Day one of the Blippers' week and we have spent the day at Buttermere.  The rain held off and it was mild but surprisingly windy.  Exposures today have been challenging as the sky was so much brighter than the land but we are here to learn, as well as enjoy the week long blip meet, so that is all to the good.
