Broom

Still a lot of broom about the on the hills, conspicuous now that it is flowering.  I try to keep it out of our garden as much as possible, because it is inclined to take over given the chance.  So this is a good time of year to find smaller bushes hiding between other plants.  

This morning, up on Mt Pleasant, there is a lot of yellow as I look down into Lyttelton.
