The Carpet

It's thick and it's rather pretty - or at least I think so.  I believe my neighbours are less impressed with its beauty  ; )  Heavy rain started the day, followed by brief sunshine coupled with very high winds = a lovely carpet of golden leaves on my front lawn.

The early darkness is really foiling my attempts at getting out more with my camera after work.  I always look forward to the shortest day (daylight hours) as I know it begins reversing again so much to look forward to  :)
