Delightfully creepy

This musical box must be from the 1950s. The automation and music works fine and the surprise is that the rather burlesquely clad (top half) dancer actually jumps and twiddles her legs! The strips of mirror to the back are hauntingly old with the silvering disintegrated and cloudy. Rather magical and gothic plus the money paid for it went straight to charity. I suspect this was a rather expensive present for someone back in the day!
