New pastures

These are the cattle I blipped coming down the mountain in the transhumance last week.  They have much lower grazing now and looked quite content.  I did a bit of shopping and packing in the morning. This afternoon I returned a DVD I had been lent about the Algerian war and the exodus of the Pieds-Noirs.  My friend lived through those traumatic times  and his accounts are both interesting and poignant.

It seems another blip milestone is upon me so I will take this opportunity to thank all those who visit my journal and who is return give me such varied insights into other places and other lives. Thanks also to Blip central for keeping everything running smoothly.
