Mother and child

The Great Crested Grebe on the left is, I'm sure, a juvenile. There were three Grebes in the river by the Foot Bridge today, but they were quite far off. It was quite a challenge getting these shots as these birds dive, then go a long way under the water before surfacing, and one has no idea where they are going to come up!
