Empty stage

Tonight we went to see Beth Orton singing at the Glee Club. She was very good. But she/da management didn't want anyone taking photos during the show. So I'm afraid all you get is the empty stage about 5 mins before she started.

While I kind of understand the rights protection thing, surely getting people looking and listening is one potential way if getting more people to look and listen? I mean, this photo would have been way better if she'd been in shot. And then maybe some of you might be tempted if not to go to one of her upcoming concerts, but maybe to play one of her old albums, and maybe even buy her new one...
