Unexpected

On my way home from the movies I parked on Rocks Rd to look for a blip and found this sculpture in a yard beside a building.  It is the Goddess of Flight by Fiona Sutherland.  It used to be at the airport which has been renovated.  The net tells me the management thinks the airport doesn't need any of it's old art works.  The new building is an art work in itself.  I beg to differ.  Anyway someone is hopeful the goddess will be re homed at Saxton Field which is where Nelson's first airfield was.  I hope she is found a home.  She looks like she and her bird are longing to be set free from the wire enclosed yard.
The movie was A Star is Born.  I liked the music, I liked the actors and the story but I wasn't moved by the filmed.
