Grass in the forest...

I don't know what this is , but this seed head of grass was growing all on it's own in front of one of those pine trees. It looks a sort of pampas grass??
It rained last night and a bit this morning but we got out this afternoon with our friends playing 9 holes of golf on a par 3 course. Hubby was my caddy, and I so enjoyed having a golf go again, not played for months, and I managed a birdie, and was so delighted!
