Bangkok

After a leisurely start to the day we got out and explored a bit of Bangkok. Our main aim for the day was Krua Apsorn. A restaurant we had seen on The Hairy Bikers’ Asian Adventure. We had to catch a train and still walk for 50 minutes to get there but oh was it worth it! Delicious food, happy tummies. Thanks Si and Dave!!

From the restaurant we headed towards Chinatown then stopped for a drink at a funky cafe near the train station. This street food vendor was outside a Seven Eleven. School kids were just finished. Most went to the Seven Eleven but a handful went to this guy for a quick cheap snack!

The Golden Buddha Temple is just behind the buildings here.
