Stop in the name of dove

What a contrast with yesterday, which was sunny and relaxing! Today we had snow and I had a really busy day.

A group of us are doing the catering for Chris's funeral tomorrow, so Rhonda and I had to buy all the food this morning. Had a fair old chase to find enough leeks for the leek and tattie soup, think I may have caused an economic crash in Wales. Revenge for the rugby!

Dashed up and down to Stenton a couple of times as well, since Chris's uncle is staying there. It was beautiful in the snow and I grabbed a few pix (mostly out the car window it must be admitted).

There is a pair of doves who live in the churchyard, very full of themselves. They have been known to stop traffic when they refuse to get off the road. But as you can see, they are worth stopping for.
