Morning visitor

They get everywhere! I’d seen them behind the cottage and they appear to have a drey in the ivy covered Fir.
Another great day for walking, so we visited Drumlanrigg and enjoyed a woodland ramble, further than we’d planned because the waymarkers disappeared!
Later called at Thomas Tosh’s in Thornhill. He is a character created by Joseph Waugh , the dialect novelist, 150 years ago. It is now a café, shop and gallery worth a visit.
