Raining ... indoors!

After walking the dogs this morning I took a quick trip to the supermarket for drinking chocolate. I'm usually a Sainsbury's shopper but I prefer Morrisons own drinking chocolate.

I paid at the self service checkout but as I walked past one of the check out aisles I noticed the assistant wearing rather unusual headgear .... I just had to ask why he was wearing an umbrella on his head on a very ordinary Thursday.

The staff were just trying to make things a little different today because about 4 hours earlier Lidl had opened a new store about half a mile up the road. I don't think they need to worry ... there were still plenty of loyal Morrisons shoppers with laden trolleys.
