Grasses at Buttermere

First day of the Blipweek, and we spent a great day round Buttermere. In the evening I downloaded the photos, loaded them into lightroom, showed a selection to the group etc. The following morning I looked at the folder to choose a blip only to find all the files were missing! Searched the hard drive to no avail. The card had been formatted so I ran a recovery on the card that evening, I got back photos from last years USA trip, photos from the last month right up to last week, but nothing from this day! 

I had the thought I was going to miss a blip by inadvertently deleting the directory (The whole folder was missing on the hard drive), I rescued this photo by calling up the image in lightroom (thumbnail) viewing it full screen and doing a screenprint, then saved the file - it might not be razor sharp, but I rescued a missing blip!

UPDATE:

Found the files - for some reason I'd copied them onto another drive, which I'd disconnected. They're back where they're meant to be, backed up and the pic has been changed.
