Teeny Tiny Fungi

Awake at stupid o’clock (4 a.m.) so was able to do some blip reading and comments. Our daughter got up around 7 - I got baby ready and also had the pleasure of burping her after her first feed. They left for the conference about 7:30. After our breakfast it was a morning of soup making (two batches) and cutting out shapes for Mrs madwill's quilt kits. I also went to the post office to despatch a few orders that came through yesterday.

After our lunch - carrot and coriander soup with crusty baguette - I took Finlay out for a walk. Spotted a group of miniscule fungi on a moss covered log…one here for blip with a little shot of it next to my thumbnail to give an idea of size.

Packed up the soup ready for the freezer and now have to think about starting tea…beef meatballs with homemade tomato sauce (from the freezer) and butternut squash ‘spaghetti’… the rest of the squash went in some soup :-)
