The come-back rose!

Felt pretty lousy most of the day after a flu jab (and a jab against pneumonia) yesterday evening.  Had to go to the dentist this afternoon (all tickety-boo - just a clean!) so took myself off to bed from mid morning until it was time to leave for the dentist as I felt as if I had flu.  Feeling better now I'm pleased to say.

We had the side elevation of the house re-pointed this summer and the climbing rose by the kitchen door was severely cut back but amazingly it has bounced back and I noticed this morning that one of the buds has finally opened into this lovely flower.
