III. Nature, XXVIII Autumn
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry’s cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I’ll put a trinket on.
Emily Dickinson
Some incredibly heavy hail events in the night but another bright and blustery day. We walked around the circuit and lots of Autumnal colours to be seen which I've compiled into an abstracted collage with a few extra flourishes! Thanks to Ingeborg for the Autumn Abstract Challenge.
