Me and My Shadow

There are some days when multi tasking seems like juggling with balls. This was the day when I felt I was about to drop at least one, but then I caught it and all was well.

There was a magnificent sky as I went for the papers before breakfast and I had in mind to commit a blip of it to the can, before I found this little crane fly having a snooze on the wall. He looked so delicate against the white, that he is the winner today.

Later in the day I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen since long before we moved to the Dower House. It was interesting catch up with her now that she has retired and learn that she spends 6months in Edinburgh over the winter and 6 months in France during the summer - sounds ideal to me.
