Tommy in the churchyard

People and organisations are finding lots of different ways to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War. This simple silhouette in the village churchyard with autumn leaves blowing around his feet is remarkably evocative. Personally I find individual silent reflection is more moving than the big staged events.
