Lucy's First Birthday.....

shattered today.  Went to Fitsteps at 9.30 then came straight home, wellies on and walked Little B through the park to the vets... then back again.  Tidied up, wrapped some presents then got to the "party" by 3 p.m for tea and cake with the other set of grandparents.  I took two cameras but seemed to end up with the 85mm on the Sony which is probably rather tight for such a small area ;)  Anyway, got a few decent pics and an awful lot of fails!  She has a cold too and was breathing through her mouth mostly.  My daughter had baked a small "healthy... ish" cup cake with a large number one candle on it,  unfortunately she didn't manage to get it away from Lucy quickly enough after it was extinguished and she touched it with one of her tiny fingers.... five minutes of real tears followed and I felt awful for my daughter but these things happen and she soon cheered up as she had her very own cake .
