Bruntsfield golden autumn tree

I couldn't resist the autumn colours again today on my way to work. This tree is looking spectacular on Bruntsfield Links.

I survived my five hours in a row of undergraduate teaching. The last hour - during which the students posed some really interesting questions to LyndseyJ about her doctoral research - was the best .

I didn't manage to clear the decks completely before leaving the office this evening, but I think that I have done enough to enjoy my long weekend away with my book group chums. Six of us - including ArcLight, Ridgeback13 and Winsford - are on a early flight to Spain first thing tomorrow morning.

Exercise today: walking (14,721 steps).
