The chooks at Stancombe Beech farmshop

While Keith copied the photos I'd taken of the Bee Farmers AGM  a few weeks ago, I stood out in the farm yard and watched the specialist chickens that his son keeps. Whenever children visit the shop they are able to take a selection of seeds to feed to the chickens which is always a popular thing to do while their parent are at the farmshop.

Instead I grabbed a few pictures as the mingled and scratched in the earth and behaved like chickens. They are the lucky ones these days. I think they look rather lovely.
