Left our mark.

These trees we planted,
In the garden on our farm,
Fruit of our labours.


A significant day in my life. Today I signed up to sell most of the farm we have lived on to a neighbour. We still retain the homestead and 10 acres. 
We are not sure what we will do with this "lifestyle" block.
I retired 5 years ago and a son has been here since. Now he longer wants to farm so we have sold. I don't feel happy, or sad. Just reflective of what a special privilege and responsibility to have cared for and loved this land for the past 40 years.
