Jess and Max

It seems I have 2 photography buddies now! These guys follow me everywhere. Jess wasn't keen on Max when we first got her but they are becoming firm friends now. I thought this picture captured both their personalities really well.
Max is the happy go lucky laid back giant teddy bear and Jess is full of mischief. She goads Max with her long tail to make him chase her. Ive trained Max not to chase things because Rottys have a very strong prey instinct. He cant resist every now and then though when Im not there to pull him into line.

Today we went unconditional on the house we have bought. Such a relief to know that we have a permanent home and we will no longer have to rent. I will miss this place though. There is 14 acres to explore and my camera has had a real workout here. Our new place is only 3000sqms but its surrounded by bush. I have lofty plans already. Looking forward to getting a vege garden started a chicken coop built so we can have fresh eggs .. We move on the 14th of December. Just in time for Christmas!
