First sight

Two meanings to that today.  This is the first sight from my bedroom in the Edinburgh flat at the moment and although I have blipped the view before, the colours are particularly fine this week, probably for the last week of this autumn.

But also not the first sight I thought I might be blipping today, which would have been of Douglas on the Isle of Man , where I have never been and where the British Irish Council is being held tomorrow.

However I have been a bit below par this week and have been persuaded to have a few days at home recuperating before a very busy schedule next week, so I am not - as I expected to be - on a ferry from Heysham but instead heading back to Argyll.
