Penrith castle
Chris kindly dropped me off at Penrith railway station this morning at the end of our photography workshop at John Gravett’s Lakeland Photography Holidays.
I had a bit of time to kill before my train south, so I wandered across to Penrith castle dragging my suitcase behind me. With nowhere to leave it, I couldn’t explore the ruins properly and this had to be my picture of the day.
Now home safely to the smell of fresh paint, clean carpets and sparkling floors. JJ has been busy.
Hundreds of pictures to process over the weekend, and newly learnt techniques to practise. I might even have to get used to taking a tripod out with me.
