The nearby town council are lining up the troops ready for Sunday's armistice day.

With some lottery money 112 stainless steel silhouettes of soldiers are now in place on the wall of the Asda car park! Each will have a name plaque giving details of a local casualty of war. This is still not enough for all the town casualties and fund raising is going on for the rest. The monument is planned to be permanent.
