Incense

There are a huge number of shops around here (Bouda, Nepal) that sell incense. Only incense. People like burning it and I like smelling it. This lady was just getting hers going as we walked down to the Supa Stupa this morning. Today was busier than normal as it is full moon (I think) and the stupa gets a new whitewashing (with addition saffron colouring). There were loads of guys selling the white powder, which you could buy and then mix into a big bucket with water (while making a wish). The guys then would use the "paint" to cover the stupa, which will then have a little part of you on it and maybe your wish will come true....
