Train of thought
A part of preparing for the centennial marking of the Armistice. Last of the set of days in Leith and before and after the work sessions in Victoria Quay, I captured several blipable shots: the dawn, the Water of Leith again and some fine public art. For these you have to look on Twitter or Facebook. But. The Railway tragedy of 22 May 1915 when a troop shipment of Royal Scots travelling from Larbert to Liverpool were killed as part of the three train crash - 227 lives lost, combining with the Merchant Marine marker memorial and the Royal Scots involvement in the first war and this long weekend's sad remembrances.
