Train of thought

A part of preparing for the centennial marking of the Armistice. Last of the set of days in Leith and before and after the work sessions in Victoria Quay, I captured several blipable shots: the dawn, the Water of Leith again and some fine public art. The Railway tragedy of 22 May 1915 when a troop shipment of Royal Scots travelling from Larbert to Liverpool were killed as part of the three train crash - 227 lives lost, combining with the Merchant Marine marker memorial and the Royal Scots involvement in the first war and this long weekend's sad remembrances.
