The best laid plans ..........

This magnificent beech tree stands in the village and for some time I have thought I will blip it.  Autumn colour is the obvious time to show it at its best.   So during this autumn I have thought must take the shot.

The shot clearly illustrates how what the eye sees and what the camera sees are not the same thing.  When I walked along to get the shot my eye was seeing a beech covered in leaves.  Just like the part in the thumbnail.  I was horrified to see how few leaves there are on the upper parts of the crown once it was in the camera.

As it is the only thing I have taken shots of today it has to be my blip.
