Tree Lights

As Xmas is nearing the hotel has been running a Xmas Fair during our stay so there lots of interesting things to photograph including dancers and entertainers. However, I got interested in the lights on the Xmas tree which was an enormous one. Must have been nearly thirty feet high. It was decorated impeccably, in fact too uniformly so I decided to jazz it up by manually focussing on the tree lights using a longish exposure and twisting the compact camera as I took the shot. I got lots of lovely patterns but liked this the best with its mixture of twirls and curves.
