Northern Flicker
One good thing about having the leaves off the trees is that I can see the birds better. Although the flickers are here all year, they only come to dine at our feeders in the winter. It's nice to have them back along with Dark-eyed Juncos, and Red and White-breasted nuthatches. This was a through-the-window shot so not very sharp. I added this oil painting filter in Luna Pic and then I just added a vignette to the original image in the extra. I couldn't decide which I liked better.
I am grateful that one of my favorite blippers will be in town next week and we'll be having a Blipmeet!! :-))
