First Ever Fairy Floss.

In the UK it's Candy Floss.

We went to a Santa parade today.  He's now officially arrived at the shopping centres.

Thankfully it wasn't too hot, and we managed to stand in the shade.  There seemed to be a lot more people than last year.

We saw the dancers, singers,  and an amazing school band.  There was a magician, which the kids loved, but for me went on a bit too long.  There was a parade of Christmas characters, and finally Santa arrived on the back of a Harley Davidson!  I think I preferred the fire truck he arrived on last year.  But surely they could come up with a proper sleigh one year.

Anyway, Isabella had a lovely time.  She had half her face painted, we had to be careful of her wound.  She had fairy floss but missed out on a sculptured balloon, too big a queue.  Still she was happy.

Mia was mesmerised by all the performers, especially the magician!  And she loved all the decorations hanging up in the shopping centre.  She kept reaching out for them with her hands, and was so excited.

So, now it looks like Christmas is officially in full swing.
