Wild Poppies

What a pleasant surprise to wake to clear skies, lots of snow on the hills out back and chilled wind.  The wind did its job and started to dry out the lawns and gardens.  Still water lying about though.

We headed off for a walk across Caro Bay doing the circuit - very enjoyable.  Not sure how I filled in the afternoon, being lazy I suspect.

Snuck down to the beach to photograph the wild poppies, but with the excessive rain and strong winds they were pretty much done and dusted.   I had to contend with a very strong easterly wind but managed (almost) to get this one sorta sharp.
