Rainy park

Once the vital Saturday chores were done, such as buying food, cooking lunch, sorting a few bits out, I thought I would go to the park, walk round the lake etc... Just as I arrive, it starts to rain. That's ok, I think, that means less people (true). What I didn't quite anticipate is that a bit of rain would rapidly turn into a downpour. Luckily I take a plastic bag with me to protect the camera, but even I gave up after around 20 minutes. 

Cooking wise, I made my first squash soup today - and its really rather gorgeous. I am pleasantly surprised.
