Dechmont Woods

A lovely visit today with Edinburgh Fortean Society to Dechmont Woods, the site of the Robert Taylor Incident. This was an account by a forestry worker back in 1979 who was attacked by two silver spheres that tried to drag him to a larger sphere and tore his trousers in the process. The account is usually regarded as being pretty believable as it seems clear something happened to Mr Taylor. Exactly what is the subject of some debate. I believe the trousers are still in existence. There are some fairly recently installed signs directing walkers to a plaque and information board. The plaque is in the extras, along with a photo of Dechmont Law.
