The Lord Mayor's Show

A TV view of the splendid yearly London pageant, now over 800 years old, celebrating the new Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Peter Estlin.  He is the 691st to  be welcomed to the administrative and ceremonial position in the City. This is different to the mayor of Greater London. I sat and watched it at home as I love the colourful spectacle and pomp with floats, fancy dress, scouts, guides, the services and brass bands. Also some nice pandas marching and waving to bring to attention that they need to save their environment.
