Scotland!

CyclopsJnr had a rugby filled day.

Rugby Tots this morning, where he did very well.  He caught a couple of velcro tails in the chasing game, and manage not to assault anyone too severely when it was his turn to be a defender.

This afternoon we went to Murrayfield to see Scotland vs. Fiji.  CyclopsJnr loved the atmosphere and did a lot of shouting "Scotland!" and "Come on!", although I think the finer points of the game passed him by...  I'd like to think his enthusiasm brought good luck to the Scotland team, which won 54-17 (in spite of some passes that CyclopsJnr would have been made to try again at Rugby Tots!).

On the way home, he said "Daddy, why didn't anyone there have a white foam finger for Fiji?".  Great question!  We talked a bit about how far away Fiji was, and how there probably weren't too many of their fans there.  I also had to explain that they weren't "baddies", just the other team. 

When he set up a game of duck rugby in the bath, he said "You shout 'come on Scotland' and I'm going to shout 'come on Fiji' so both teams have shouting for them".  Sweet boy!
