Sequoia Tree Planting

Participating in the planting of a Sequoia tree was quite a thrill for me.
The Eugene Parks and Open Spaces Department Urban Forestry Program has a plan to plant 2021 Sequoia trees by the year 2021.
The Baha'is of Eugene have joined in this Urban Forestry Program by planting, and taking responsibility for nurturing, one of these trees.
It fires my imagination to think about this sapling someday growing into a 350 foot (100 meter) giant in the far-flung future.
