Beside the Still Waters....

Armistice Day.....and New Zealand is the first country in the world to commemorate this special day. Maisie and I went walking up at the Taylor Dam around mid-day. We walked along the top of the dam having left the car parked beside the lake.... a very peaceful spot. This afternoon Keith and I went to the ASB Theatre to see a performance of composer Carl Jenkins’s “The Armed Man...A Mass for Peace”... magnificent and very moving with the Marlborough Brass Band, choirs and great solo singers. .A wonderful experience.
