Here in our little corner of Germany, the 11th day of the 11th month marks the beginning of karneval, and so the cities of Dusseldorf and Cologne will be full of people partying.  I like a party, as my blips often show, but there's no way you will ever find me marking this particular with an excess of alcohol.
This part of the local graveyard is the final resting place to 161 people, both armed forces and civilians who died in the two world wars.
