Remembrance Sunday

Mrs 24601 and I took a morning walk to the Cenotaph in Levengrove Park.

Poignant stuff.

A miserable morning weather wise, but at 11am precisely, the rain stopped. 

The two-minute silence was impeccably observed by all.

There then followed a mini-parade through the park.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them."
