First day of the Global CEO Program in Shanghai, co-run by IESE, CEIBS and Wharton business schools. 40 CEOs from around the world attend a learning journey over eight months with residential modules in each of the partner schools home campuses. Great to meet my group who I will work with in their key challenges over that period. Here I am with Javier and Pascual . . . it felt like first day at school!

At 19.00 hours local time I managed to escape onto the school patio in the dark and observe a minute's silence on this, the 100th anniversary of the WW1 armsistice, as Big Ben chimed in London on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of this particular eleventh month.
