Castle Crag Rainbow

Another day on our own. Some of the group went for a walk in Borrowdale. I think we did more walking than photography today!

And we seemed to have a variety of weather too. Castle Crag is the smallest hill included in Wainwright's guides. The only one below 1,000 ft.

Debs and John have a night off on Thursday evenings, so we all trooped down to the pub at the bottom of the lane into Braithwaite. We had a lovely meal at the Royal Oak. We had stunning look at the night sky on our way home. We could even see the Milky Way.
