Silence

We were up quite early and decided to have a walk down to the Cenotaph to watch the parade.

There were so many people, different shapes, sizes, colours, languages, all there to remember.

We watched the parades and then at 11am the gun fired, echoing around Westminster, and it fell completely silent. Thousands and thousands of people and not a sound apart from the ducks on the serpentine.
