Do what you can

Visited an exhibition of work by Creative escapes, an art group for people with dementia. Mum loves giing there and was pleased as punch to see some of her work on the wall. As she doesn't do lifts, we also had endless entertainment climbing six flights of stairs while giggling like loons. One of our class made a video for her mum, who has deteriorated and can't make it to the class these days. She still talks about her time with us though - I remember when she was struggling with her words but determinedly said "Nice people here. Like." It reminds me that we should do what we can, while we can, and if we can add some sunshine, all the better
