100 years for Frank
Frank Marsh died 14.9.1915 - today at the Remebrance service we remembered him. The two males and the children would not be here today without him. W who is wearing the medals is his grandson, M stood behind his great grandson and the children his great, great grandchildren. The poppy on the pews bears his name and the Perspex soldier barely seen behind my uncle is there to represent him too.
We are on this special day and every day truly grateful that they gave their lives for our freedom. We must always remember them and we must treasure every day of freedom we have because of them. Even more importantly we must continue to ‘fight’ for a life that they themselves deserved.
