Sparrow enjoying the sun

Pleased to wake up to some sunshine after a reasonable nights sleep.  Went out to feed the birds and then took this photo of a sparrow awaiting its turn on the feeder.  Did walk to the shop and saw a lot of people going down to the church service, I wish I could have been with them.
Today is my son's birthday, spoke to him last night and text this morning. Wish he lived nearer.   I watched the tv and observed the 2 minutes silence. This evening saw the wonderful faces drawn onto the sand on beaches around the country, a fabulous idea/tribute.
